Apollo Slab, a unique name, for a state of the art kitchen worktop. Its title suggests a splice of space age material, with an ambivalent meaning, and in some senses, it is. What would your kitchen worktop have to do with that? Well quite a lot, actually. This new material is a good 30mm thick solid surface worktop. It is robustly made and quite weighty. That strength will help your worktop function almost independently without the need for an additional under frame.
Yet, Apollo Slab in appearance, looks very light, elegant and contemporary, making it a perfect choice for a 21st century interior. Many of the kitchen design features you see in interior magazines, will most likely be made using Apollo Slab.
The characteristics of Apollo Slab offer you ease with installation. The extra strength in your worktops gives support and provides you with an opportunity to create your own design. Easy to fit, either by yourself or one of our trained team, this solid surface material allows you that choice. Apollo Slab can accommodate undermounted or integrated sinks and drainer grooves, giving you great flexibility for your ideal kitchen. This is a non-porous surface and does not require sealing.
Apollo Slab worktops are tactile with a soft sheen similar to quartz, but unlike natural stone, the surfaces are warm to the touch. Apollo Slab is an aspirational solid surface, promoting a luxurious look without the prohibitive cost. This seamless smooth worktop can easily be yours.
Apollo Slab worktops have a fine selection of colours to choose from, including Black rose, Black velvet, Polar white and Sea mist. This evocative collection will help you achieve the look you have always wanted for your interior rooms. At Go Worktops we like to offer the best in solid surfaces and Apollo Slab provides just that.
Apollo Slab kitchen or bathroom worktop has an excellent resistance to impact, making it an ideal choice for the busiest rooms in the home. The inbuilt hygienic feature means its non-porous smooth surface is highly resistant to mould, mildew and bacteria. For stubborn dry spills or dirt, simply wash with a warm damp cloth and mild soap to keep its surface in tip top condition.
When preparing vegetables it is advisable to use a chopping board to avoid direct contact with the surface. Always use a trivet or hot pad if using hot pans and pots, and never put these directly onto your work surface. To keep and maintain the natural shine of your work surfaces, we recommend that you avoid using any bleaches, ink or nail polish remover anywhere near your kitchen and bathroom tops.
At Go Worktops, we sell only top quality products with lasting capabilities. Apollo Slab comes with the manufacturers warranty of 10 years and we receive these worktops directly from the supplier. We have no hesitation in recommending the Apollo Slab as an ideal contemporary choice of kitchen worktops, especially for the discerning buyer.
There are several ways in which to consider which worktop you should choose - Realistically focusing on a small sample is not one of them since 99% of your life in your kitchen will be the peripheral "OVERALL IMPACT" of the work surface you choose. How we view our worktop at a glance at 2-3 meters is a better way to make your final choice.
ie. A small sample that may be pleasing to the eye up close may present a less than perfect choice when you are looking at 6 square meters of it. Equally, a small sample that may have the right overall shade but perhaps the wrong grain, may also provide you with ideal "OVERALL IMPACT" that you are hoping for..
Midnight up close looks quite black, quite grainy - However as an overall appreciation its effect is very different providing almost a 3D Graphite look
